Continental Home Center offers rental-purchase agreements that provide access to quality furniture, appliances, electronics, computers, mattresses, tires, jewelry, and more without traditional financing.
A rental-purchase agreement is not a credit card, loan, or traditional financing transaction. You choose the product and payment schedule that works for you, make rental renewal payments, and have the opportunity to acquire ownership through the options described in your agreement.
What “No Credit Check” Means
Continental does not base approval solely on a traditional credit score. Customers with limited credit history or past credit challenges are encouraged to apply.
“No Credit Check” does not mean that every application is automatically approved or that no information will be reviewed. We consider multiple factors when reviewing an application and may verify information such as:
- Identity and contact information
- Current residence
- Income or ability to make rental payments
- References provided with the application
- Previous rental history with Continental
- Other information relevant to the application, as permitted by law
Approval requirements may vary based on the merchandise selected, the requested payment amount, and the information provided in the application.
How the Application Process Works
- Choose your merchandise. Browse our products online or visit your local Continental Home Center.
- Complete a short application. Provide the basic information needed for your local store to review your request.
- Speak with your local store. A Continental team member may contact you to verify information and discuss product availability.
- Review your agreement. Before receiving the merchandise, you will be given a rental-purchase agreement explaining your payment options and the cost of ownership.
- Schedule delivery or pickup. Once approved and your agreement is completed, your store will arrange the next steps.
Flexible Payment Options
Continental offers flexible rental renewal schedules designed to help customers match payments with their household budget.
Available payment frequencies may include:
- Weekly payments
- Biweekly payments
- Monthly payments
Available schedules, payment amounts, and agreement terms depend on the merchandise selected and the terms offered by your location.
4 to 6 Months Same as Cash
Qualifying new rental-purchase agreements may include a 4 to 6 Months Same as Cash purchase option. This option allows you to acquire ownership during the stated Same as Cash period by paying the applicable Same as Cash amount.
Exercising a Same as Cash option may require a separate payment in addition to your regular rental renewal payment. Contact your Continental store before the deadline shown in your agreement to receive the correct payoff amount.
Same as Cash availability, qualifying products, deadlines, and terms may vary. Your written rental-purchase agreement contains the controlling terms and conditions.
Early Purchase Options
You do not have to make every scheduled rental payment to acquire ownership. Your agreement may provide one or more early purchase options that allow you to purchase the merchandise before the end of the full rental term.
The early purchase amount is determined according to the terms of your agreement. Contact your store for a current purchase-option quote before making the payment.
Always Free Delivery
Standard delivery is free on qualifying rental-purchase agreements within the normal delivery area of your Continental location.
Delivery timing and service availability depend on product availability, location, weather, access, and other conditions. Certain products may require additional preparation or special ordering.
Appliance setup does not include plumbing, electrical modifications, gas connections, or other work requiring a licensed professional. Contact your store for delivery and setup details.
No Long-Term Obligation
A rental-purchase agreement is designed to provide flexibility. You may generally end the agreement without continuing to make future renewal payments by returning the merchandise in accordance with the agreement.
Past-due payments, damage, unreturned merchandise, or other existing obligations remain subject to the terms of the agreement and applicable law.
Your Agreement Contains the Details
Product pricing, rental payments, rental term, cash price, total cost to own, purchase options, reinstatement rights, and other important terms are disclosed in the written rental-purchase agreement.
Please read your agreement carefully before signing it. Ask your Continental team member about anything you do not understand. The written agreement controls if information on this page differs from the terms of a specific transaction.
